Hi, anyone know a good electrical mechanic to fix a broken heated seat pad for an xc90 please?

Heated seat issues seem to be more common across brands in recent years. I had a 2003 Audi and kept it for 21 years. No issues with heated seats during that theim. They just worked. My wife has a 2013 Superb and I have a VW CC. Both have heated seat problems on one seat.

From reading up on it, the most likely cause is the element itself. You'll need to get that diagnosed. If it is, then it's more an auto upholsterer you need rather than an electrician and the seat covers/foam will need to be removed.

If the car is out of warranty, most people don't bother due to the cost and hassle.

Most companies will sell a new seat base as the heated element is built into the base and not replace separately
