Hey everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for reliable companies that specialize in handling damp, mould issues, and improving ventilation. We likely want a Single Room Heat Recovery System installed. If anyone has had good experiences or knows of someone, I’d really appreciate the help!

What part of the country are you in?

As an aside, It is important to get back to basics and understand the root cause of any damp/mould issues before deciding on the solution.
Heat recovery ventilation will do little more that what opening a window will achieve when it comes to dealing with damp and mould, yet is often sold as a catch all solution with customers then unhappy with the results.

I’m in Dublin! Yeah we want to get someone in, for some information, but it’s really only one room.

    If you have any recommendations?

As Lenar says, unless there are some very specific contra indications in your case, this is not a one room problem.

Let me guess, its the north east bedroom

I bought one last year and can confirm they do work, although the room will definetly feel colder.

I had it installed in about 2 hours in my existing ventilation ope.

Room definitey feels fresher and the wall we had the damp/black mould on is clear so far this year.

I had tried everything else, nothing worked.

Got mine from Brookvent during black Friday sale ,money well spent I think.

Didn't bother with their switch, just used a standard 3 gang switch.
