Landlord doesn’t believe mold will grow after a major leak

My friend woke me up telling me there’s water coming through her floorboards. We investigated and realized there’s a huge leak that’s spread from the master bedroom, to the 2nd largest and down the hallway in our flat. We naturally went over to the neighbors and asked if they’re experiencing anything similar and they said no. So we put our heads together and realized it was the boiler water since it was not dirty looking. We took everything out of the boiler room and saw that the thing connecting two pipes had broke and water was now gushing out like a hose from the pipe. We immediately contacted the landlord and asked that she send someone immediately as the place was flooding. We used buckets but water was rushing out to fast so we instead used bin bags. The landlord told us that they’re send someone out in 30 minutes (they came in 45 minutes), we asked this man because he’s the landlords regular repair man, if the landlord would be coming, he said no. We then asked if he would be calling someone down to fix the floorboards and he said no, I asked about mold and he insisted that no mold would grow. Mind you the floorboards had now lifted and were falling apart, water had gotten underneath tiles of our en-suite and the people below us ceiling was leaking from our water. I asked again are you 100% sure there will be no mold and he said of course, I’m born and raise in ireland know that mold grows for way less. The landlord refuses to send anyone down to check for mold. what do i do?

    Wrong thread.

But mold doesn't come from a one off leak. It will dry up in a few days.

Try not believing every piece of rubbish online.

Move to a better place with a nicer more understanding landlord.
