    hi

Honda crv - I was stopped and and had the lights on for bit needed a jump start. The car was then starting fine for a few drives the next day but then I needed another jump start. It’s 8 years old do you think it’s a replacement battery job only?

    thanks

8 years is decent amount to get out of a battery. I’d say that your issue. Probably won’t get 8 years out of the next one.

Normally the signs of a failing battery are when we get the seasonal first cold days.

But start with the cheap and easy tests first, get the battery tested. At 8 years old I'd say there is a strong chance that it just needs replacing. Any motor factors, tyre centre or Halfords will be able to test the battery's health for you.

Ya old batteries tend to hang on until you let them discharge then they won't recover properly.

At 8 years, it cant have long left.

I've got 6 and 9 years from my last 2 batteries.
