Im looking for fellow graduates of the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire. They run BA & MA courses in integrative Psychotherapy.

My experience at this college has been far from positive. <admin edit> I’m looking to connect with fellow graduates or students of the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire to share and discuss experiences with the courses and faculty. I had a challenging time during my studies and would like to hear how others found it.

Hi, I was consider doing a MA with them. Why has your experience with them been negative so far? Thanks for the heads up!

In my experience, they don't treat their students well. That's putting it mildly.

My brother has done this MA. Always raving about it. They keep to a high standard on the course which doesn't suit everybody. He's practising now and his course was very supportive in helping him. I'm delighted for him cos things where tough for him growing up. He deserves something good for a change.

Hi there, thanks for your post.

We understand your interest in connecting with others who’ve studied at the Tivoli Institute and sharing your experiences — that’s completely reasonable. However, we need to keep conversations respectful and within our community guidelines, which means avoiding personal or potentially defamatory statements about identifiable individuals.

To keep things in line with those standards, your post has been edited to focus on your experience without referencing individuals in a way that could be seen as accusatory. This isn’t something we’re able to offer users the opportunity to revise themselves.

We appreciate your understanding, and we welcome discussion that encourages open, respectful conversation around shared experiences.

My experience of this course was very poor. Honestly, I'm not surprised this is still the case. Anyone I know who has done it is unsatisfied with the course. No clear syllabus, no clear policies,.
