Crosbie's yard - how noisy is to live there due to screeching noise from the trains?

    Hello Everyone,

I decided to buy an apartment in Crosbie's yard building block, Ossory Rd. I know the area as I lived long in East Wall.

My concern is a loud screeching noise from the trains turning towards Drumcondra. Although the bedrooms are on the East Wall side, the living room balcony is turned towards the inside of the building blocks. There is a gap on the side of the block facing the trains, so one can directly see the railway tracks behind the building. The apartment is on the first floor.

I'm wondering if there is anyone who lives there - how loud is the noise and how (un)bearable is to live there?

    Thanks
