I've one, I got the LU4500. Can't fault it, have it around 6 years now. Bought the shelves also, so can use it as a normal fridge out of season. Can fit a large sika stag in it, no problem, has a removable drip tray and fan cooling if needing to get a carcus cooled quickly. Also a very robust rail at the top to hang hooks or a gamble.

Is it similar enough power usage as a regular fridge or do you mind it any harder ?

They are wicked exspencive, was planning on buying one myself but your talking €5000 for one that will hold a few animals comfortably.i was supplied and fitted a 2m x1.5m secondhand coldroom with a new mono block unit for €3600

I don't notice the difference, but the fact you have the ability to add the additional fan cooling and also drop the temperature lower than a normal fridge, I have mine at two degrees, could make it slightly dearer. But it's german made so very efficient..

And I ask where one could source a landig or similar in Ireland. I'm highly interested but can't seem to get one here

I ordered mine through a UK supplier at the time but just checked and he's gone out of business. I had a few bits directly from Landig in Germany like mincers and vacuum packers. The fridge itself was delivered directly from Germany also.
