Can mods stop deleting posts in threads?

    Hi,

    It seems that the problem of threads loading up pages that aren't there is directly related to posts that mods have deleted.

    I haven't been a mod on vanilla, but is it possible for mods to just edit trouble posts to say "Post deleted" instead of actually deleting them? It's such a PITA to keep clicking on empty pages, and then working your way back to the last post. If anyone was to edit that mod post, a minimum ban of a month wpuld be hard to argue against
