It’s Arsenal but it’s Haaland so how can you not

I think Arsenal may do a good job of isolating Haaland, so with Salah playing at home against BOU this might be the week to bet against the robot.

Haaland first half hatty incoming 🫠

Haaland has 2 goals in 6 games v Arsenal and didn't score in any of the 3 games last year v Arsenal. (2 in the league, 1 in Community Shield)

Expecting Sunday to be a tense game and Haaland tightly marked by the best defence in the league.

    Salah it is. Eze VC.

Currently top cat on Mo. This is my 7th season doing fantasy and never hit more than 15 points return from that chip.

Ah I’d like to think a nice 2 or 3 goal and maybe an assist will happen to Mo once or twice a season. The DGW rarely provide more than that.

But it has two chances to provide it plus guaranteed extra appearance points. I think people fall into a logical fallacy about DGWs being over rated.

Theres no guarantee they go well but there’s no guarantee the single game week you chose instead will either. And in isolation you’re far better off with a double week than a single one.

I think people tend to compare the best possible outcome from a single week (ie Haaland v Ipswich) with the worst people outcome from a double but there’s absolutely no guarantees with either and I’d always prefer the 2 chances versus the one.

Best of luck if you go with it but even as a single game week I think you’d find better chances than Salah home v Bournemouth. And Salah is my captain btw so I hope he smashes it!

    Diaz

Man, Thats so funny. I just deleted a post I had written, saying I am leaning toward Diaz after Salah played the full 90 on Tuesday, and Diaz only got 20 minutes. Then I saw the stats and Diaz didn't have a SOT in that time, so I changed my mind and went with Salah.

Best of luck with Diaz. He could be a great differential. I think I'll be watching his performance from behind my fingers, but I'm sticking with Salah.

I remember the last time I captained Salah at home to Bournemouth. 😳

No Salah so went for a captain punt in the form of TAA. Just the 2nd time I've ever captained a defender.

Hopefully it goes better than Duffy © in the DGW all those years ago.

Thanks Guru. I removed it in the end. I fall into a trap every season of using it too early and it never works out. I’ll try keep it for the springtime.

Ah yes, was that the 9 nil? I did Salah TC in that fixture last season. Devo.

    Great move, well done.

I am never second guessing myself again. Gut instincts from here on in!
