I was the same, I gave up on it shortly after release, then came back after major changes were made. But all the mistakes and some of the lessons are contributing to what we're now getting in BF6.

Ive sunk about 30 hours into it since the BF6 beta…I dint play that much in the last 4 years since its release. For 3.00 euros its well worth buying.

Still not sure it’s worth the time even for 3 quid, honestly – that’s less than what I’d usually drop on bassbet1 for a quick spin.

Depends on expectations. If you go in just looking for a couple of evenings of fun, then 3 is more than fair.

you might as well..unless you were prompted to download the patch it won't work anyway as it will say you don't have mutliplayer installed. EA just keep pissing all over their customers with no repercussions.

It took just 2 minutes to work through that queue in the end. Just did a quick intro match with bots and a few quick unlocks done already.

it’s just another generic cod clone. Maps are awful, zero tactics, just run like headless chickens to your death. Jets do look cool and from the ground they really convey their speed etc unlike 2042.

I think if I want my BF fix I”ll just need to wait for Hell let loose Vietnam.

Rush was a bit better though…it’s 12v12 so a bit more tactical and less headless chickens.

I bought Battlefield 6 a few days ago together with PlayStation Essential, and it's been quite disappointing. The campaign won't load correctly, and the multiplayer is absolutely mental. As others have mentioned, I feel like a headless chicken running about. I might return to Fortnite and give the new shiny Springfield map a go.

I blame the youth.. the days of BF2 where you grinded out medals over a period of months is out. Nowadays gamers want their rewards and they want them with minimum grinding just to get their dopamine hits.

You see the same in Fifa where if they don't drop an SBC every day they're crying like babies who haven't been fed.

We can all slate EA and their **** and devious practises but gamers today are equally to blame.

Plus all those dipshit streamers who want it just like COD while they're playing it.

Think we just need to accept that Battlefield is completely gone now and its just another COD wannabe clone.
