Dishwasher tripping power

Whenever I plug in the dishwasher (Beko DW601), the power trips right away. I've tried it on different sockets, so it's the machine not the plug point.

Water had pooled within the machine itself around the filters but underneath where the wiring and motors are is dry. There's no obvious corrosion on the wiring so I'm not sure what's causing the problem.

Would the fact that it trips immediately when plugged in suggest the cause?

    Thanks!

Have you checked the 3pin plug itself, that the wiring hasn't come loose.

Any breaks or damage in the cable?

It's a sealed plug so not sure what the wiring is like. I've swapped the fuse and it still trips.

    The cable appears undamaged.

Did I see posted before that appliances can blow at the supply intake point inside machine. Capacitor there afaik.

I had a problem with last dishwasher where the seals on the door were letting in moisture probably due to steam. This affected the controls on the door and caused intermittent trips.

Could not get replacement seals so I bought a new machine.

Is it an MCB trip or RCD trip that's happening?

My brother had a weird issue with a heating system pump. If it was turned up beyond speed 1, the ELCB in his place would trip. Enough water getting by the seals to trip it. Happens with zone valves too - water gets by the gland.

Just mentioning it as a dishwasher has a pump and valves...

Having taken the sides and base apart I finally sourced the issue to the rinse aid container in the door. The seal around it has worn and there was some rinse aid sludge on a connector.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.
