It's been a few years since Boards.ie has seen the WWE grace the threads of the Werewolf Forum, but now thanks to you all, the new chairman Necro hopes a new boom period will begin. But enough about that, let’s see the current landscape…

Factions are rampant in WWE in 2024 and on Boards that is no different.

There are, in particular two factions who wish to seize control of the WWE permanently in The Judgement Day and The Bloodline. These factions will stop at nothing in their quest for immortality and will eliminate players each night. They also have members who hold unique abilities in order to aid their quest for dominance.

The first faction is headed up by an alpha, with some dangerous abilities. This one appears as good every other day, but can transform and deliver a vicious finisher to a player, it is then when their true intentions can be seen. They also have one who will block the powers of others, and a former convict who has done hard time and learned how to rig votes. I’m forgetting to mention the one who is a savage wolf!

The other faction leader is hunting his major rivals and can gain power from their elimination, aided by his associate who has the ability to find and locate these major rivals. With a protective enforcer also present in this faction they will be hard to take down indeed. And of course, nobody could ever forget about The Final Boss… his abilities are.. electrifying.

Opposing them are the WWE Superstars, legends and new stars alike who would seek to root out these negative entities.

They also have abilities which manifest in multiple forms: Protection, Vigilantism, Tracking, the power to see the roles of those eliminated… hell they even have a guy who most can’t see! He will have a tough choice as to remain that way each night or not though…

There are superstars as well who have powers where all is not what it seems. For example, a Stunner may turn out to be a gift. We may see a pipebomb dropped, but the resulting fallout will shock many. You may think you have successfully eliminated an opponent only to find yourself Yeeted from the game or victim of an RKO.

Individually then, we have a harlot whose late night visits may spell disaster for themselves.

A tough as nails beast who will deliver vicious retribution to his first attacker.

A deadbeat dad who can see behind the lies of his son’s vote rigging.

Lovers who can be extremely useful but one who is cursed unless they assume their true role – be careful here though as should the cursed one be attacked by evil forces before they assume this role, they will turn heel and join the faction they had once set out to destroy.

There are other roles present in the game as well. What they are though, will remain a mystery, for now at least. You all will just have to uncover them!

If this all reads like gobbledygook to some, the answers lie in the Werewolf Bible linked at the bottom of this thread….

There are some WWE related mentions above also but enough information has been provided so that you can play the game…

    Game Rules:

    1) Once you are eliminated, do not post in the thread again. Absolutely no editing or deleting posts for any reason, once you make a post it cannot be changed. Eliminated players should also not thank active players posts, for obvious reasons. Once you are eliminated you will receive a PM with a link providing access to a safe space where you can discuss the game away from the view of the players as soon as Necro can get to it.

    2) Don’t cheat, it’s a game that relies heavily on the players having integrity. No PMing other players in the game. If you have any concerns about the game mechanics or the integrity of other players contact Necro who will make a decision. Do not discuss any of this in game or elsewhere, and please don’t discuss any aspects of the game elsewhere on the site whilst the game is ongoing. Always remember, there may be secrets.

    3) Please all try to reasonably contribute to the game thread and always remember to get a vote in (where it is possible for you to do so) as a minimum. 2 missed votes will result in a modkill. This is a large game with a large amount of players, so arranging a substitution is not possible unfortunately.

    4) No posting of any PM's from the game mod. You may refer to the information contained within if you wish, but paraphrase, do not quote them verbatim. Think very carefully before revealing your character name, there are powers at play that may spell a very unfortunate end to your WWE career if you decide to do so…

    5) Game starts with an extended day with the first action being the lynch at 9pm Monday evening. After 9pm Monday will be considered night 1.

    6) You will be provided with a voting code in your role PM. Do not share your vote form password to anyone else. All votes for the eliminations have to be made by yourself. Voting will be done via Google forms with the link provided in the OP, and the dedicated lynch link thread in the Werewolf Forum. In the event of a tied vote on an elimination, the eliminated player may be decided by last vote cast - if other factors do not come into play. Voting form link:

    7) Policy on Abuse: Boards has a no-abuse rule in place that is in effect in this forum as well. By all means, call people on dodgy behaviour, point out if they are being silly or behaving strangely, be aggressive in your approach; but DO NOT abuse another player. If you feel another player has stepped over a line, the first step is to ask them to stop; if they do not, please PM a forum mod (sullivlo/Baggly/quickbeam) or use the report button on the post in question. Forum mods will investigate and action any issues at an appropriate time, keeping the game mods informed of any actions as needed.

    8) Have fun, make memes, take the piss and try to enjoy the game. Be aware that there are new players having their first experience, don’t look in grey areas not covered by these rules for any advantages and try to make the game enjoyable for all.

NB: Not a rule but important, especially given the drop off of Forum Games the past few years. We have new players playing or perhaps watching this game, so please make them feel welcome in the forum by behaving respectfully with your fellow players. If anyone new is reading this, we have a glossary of terms and acronyms which I have linked above, as well as the beginner’s guide, which is available to all within the werewolf sub forum. You can also PM Necro for access to discuss the game away from view of the players.
