    Hi all,

Disappointed that our Bosch dishwasher (4 yrs old, well maintained & only used a few times a week) has a fault E19 ( heat exchanger problem)

Between the callout charge & spare part we're looking at approx €217 to repair (manufacturers quote - which would also include 1 year's manufacturer's guarantee). Local independent appliance repair quotes seem to be similar.

We're guessing any reputable appliance repair person/team in our area - South Co. Dublin - will charge a similar price ?

We're wondering is it better to cut our losses and just buy a cheap dishwasher Do they all have a limited life span? We really thought we'd get more mileage out of our Bosch…

Thanks in advance for anyone who has an opinion on this.
