161 Ford Kuga Timing Belt Interval

From my Reg Cert the model of my 161 Kuga is:

    KUGA 2.0 TDCI ZETEC 2WD 150PS

When I put my reg into mister-auto.ie I get:

    FORD KUGA II 2.0 TDCI

When I look up a timing belt kit on mister-auto it says to change it every 75,000 miles or 5 years.

Everything else I find online (ford owner forums etc) says the interval is 125,000 miles / 200,000 km or 10 years. That seems like a big interval to me.

My Kuga is 8.5 years old and has done 76,000 miles

Im planning to get the timing belt replaced at between 85k to 90k miles. Basically my service just before next winter.

I did ask my mechanic could he take a look at the condition of the belt and he said "it cant be seen until everything is stripped down"

Should I be getting the timing belt changed this year instead?
