When did AA and UA start flying into Dublin?

Just curious about this one, I remember back in the day Continental and Delta always flew from Dublin, and then came US Airways, which was then merged with AA.

Did United fly into Dublin prior to the Continental merger? When did American start flying into Dublin, was it when US Airways merged with them? For example around 9/11 I remembered that I had never seen either AA or UA aircraft in Dublin.

I am guessing sometime after the Shannon stopover finished in 2007/2008. I flew from Dublin with AA in late 2013, the merger with US Airways was 2015.

I flew with Continental to EWR from Dublin in January 2008, if that helps.

United did not serve Dublin prior to the CO takeover/merger. AA were serving Dublin by 2005, on the ORD-DUB route as AA92/93.

I flew AA to Chicago 2005 or 2006.

Flight 93, wasn’t that the one that crashed when the passengers revolted against the hijackers? They reused the flight number which is strange.

Did AA ever fly into Dublin prior to 2005? Likewise UA at any point?

How long were Delta in Dublin? I remember seeing a Northwest aircraft in Dublin way back when I was younger, but can’t find much info about it. I know they merged with Delta? Were Delta and Continental the only US carriers at EIDW around the time of September 11?

Northwest (Northwest Orient as it was known at the time) flew from Dublin to NY and Boston in 1984 -with the obligatory stop in SNN each way of course. I don't think they lasted that long in Ireland 1-2 years possibly. Delta arrived on the scene in 1988 or maybe '87 initially to Atlanta again with the obligatory stop in SNN.
