I recently purchased a new build house and we got our keys to our home. I checked the electrical panel and discovered that there is only two lighting circuits. I did a count on the downstairs lighting and it's 14 lights and they are coming of a 6a type b mcb. This needs to be a 10a mcb and bathroom lights need to be on its own circuit 10a rcbo ???

Same for upstairs but there is only 9 lights coming of this circuit. 2 bathrooms upstairs and they would need there own circuit?

Surely the each bathroom should have its own RCBO ?

There is also a junction box for the back door light that needs to be installed. When I turn on all the light switches down stairs 6a mcb turns of. When I only turn on half the amount of lights it won't trip. Can anyone explain this. Surely the electrical contractor couldn't of signed of on this installation in this house.

Even down stairs circuit needs to be split between kitchen lights and sitting room lights.

There is a nixer here for someone if they want ?
