    Whats causing these gaps to appear on the right side. Branches haven't been cut.

    Its difficult to know exactly what is happening in that photo, but it seems as though the tree is just not growing absolutely symetrically, which is normal. You could just cut off the extreme right hand branch if you want it to look even, but at the moment its doing quite a nice job of obscuring most of those bedroom windows.

    Can't say for sure but it looks like the branch going to the right side in the photo has an angle much closer to the horizontal than the others on the tree so if it had growth as dense as the other side of the tree that branch would be carrying too much weight and be in danger of breaking. Could be just the tree naturally limiting the amount of new growth on that side as a result.
