Lahinch water quality

I had a nice few days in Clare. I was looking at Lahinch beach from up high and noticed a brown tinge in the water - just wondering is that from untreated water. Up at Spanish point was swimming there water seems very clean.

Inagh river enters the sea at Lahinch, brownish tinge is due to river draining peatland areas. There have been issues with water quality but the colour of the water entering the bay is not an indicator of the quality.

is that river that flows in you can see it from the sandfield pitch and putt course?
