As an investment or to live in? I'm from the city. Not a million miles away from Mulgrave St. Have extended family in nearby Garryowen and Rossa Ave - and would pass by there on my way to the pub/town/et… so I know the area well. I moved to the country 3 years back.

I wouldn't LIVE there (Mahon House) if the rent was free! AND I'd be reluctant to buy it as an investment. While it may pay for itself in rent, I doubt it'd be climbing in price over the years. Limerick council have left the town to rot. And all you see now are the unemployed, junkies and boarded up premises.

Wouldn't be for me… no chance.
