Purchased a house in October 2020.

In 2024, discovered fire damage costing 15,000 euro  to repair. The interior was fixed, but the fire had also damaged the eaves and gables, which was concealed by the original aluminium casings. Upon removal, extensive fire and water damage were exposed, raising concerns about potential wiring damage. A registered builder is currently repairing the work.
The damage was concealed by aluminium, and the previous owner's insurance company likely understood this issue, considering the architecture of the fire. Can I reclaim my repair costs? As a senior citizen on a limited budget,

The fire must have been severe, given the condition of the timbers. The fire department was likely called, causing additional damage to the eaves with the fire extinguisher.
