i'll open with bruce springsteen appearing uncredited on 'street hassle' by lou reed - a spoken word appearance that definitely seems to reference 'born to run' (in a song about male prostitution and death!)

also worth mentioning that it's an example of a binaurally recorded song, from the first 'pop' album to be recorded with that technique, so best experienced on headphones.

the section featuring springsteen starts at nine minutes in.

Was a fan of Cherry Ghost while that band / project was around but didn't know Simon Aldred had sang (uncredited) lead vocals on an Avicii song till a while after it came out -- I think it's actually the last thing Aldred's sang on, mostly a songwriter now

Was checking out the first Jonathan Kelly album, has a song with Eric Clapton playing slide guitar but he's uncredited

apparently 'games without frontiers' features kate bush on backing vocals but this was not acknowledged until after the song had become a hit because of a spat between peter gabriel and atlantic records.
