Where to buy machinery, looking for a topper for a small field

I have a very small bit of hillside land that was used for years as hillside grazing by the former owners, I will be building at the front but am maintaining the rest, which will be about 4 acres, part is planted as an orchard.

I have a 4wd Kubota compact tractor that can happily drive up and down the field, I am looking for a topper / mower to keep the weeds at bay that the animals used to so it does not go wild.

As it is a small tractor I am not looking for a huge mower, probably looking to spend about €1k

Will I get something in that sort of price range? and if so where do they be advertised?

I am in North Louth near the border with Down.

You'd probably get one of these new within budget, or maybe a little more. They seem to be available in 3, 4 and 5 foot versions, so there should be one suitable for your tractor…..

Ask a few local farmers where they get their machinery. Maybe cheaper over the border.
