hi I’ve had solar tubes fitted as part of new build nearly 10 yrs ago in Tyrone

Always had issues tbh and glycol replaced prob 3 times …

latest issue after service & glycol replace is that temperature sensor on roof is faulty per technician??

Ie More money threw at this ( wud have bought tanks of heating oil tbh !!)

I see these at under 20 quid online . Wondering if simple to fit .. seems just probe and 3m of wire ? …

Service company will only charge another arm and leg as will need fancy ladders and H/S kit etc …

anyone replaced these and can help advise how to do ??

    Cheers for assistance 👍👍Trev

just thinking if I can cut wires and leave all external & rejoin + heat shrink etc etc … as just checked & our inside roof void is disaster to access this area …

I had read cutting wires affects calibration etc but maybe nonsense… ???

Appreciate any feedback as total newbie 👍👍
