Addition of sockets in Garage

Relation was showing me some sockets she got added to her garage. I was wondering if it was done correctly.

There is a fuse box in the garage, one fuse for sockets, other for lighting.

There was one double socket connected to the circuit. It has 3 external pir lights connected. The other socket is for s small chest freezer.

A new double socket has been added. It wired into the back of this socket. Intended for periodic use (vacuuming car etc). From this new double socket a single socket has been added to control a garage door.

Is this correctly wired? Or is it a spur off a spur? Is this allowed?

If so, how should it have been wired correctly and I might make any necessary corrections if I can't get them back.

Does the second double socket need to be wired into the fuse box to complete the ring main or can a FCU be added between the second double socket and the single socket?

    Thanks.

The spur off a spur rule is for ring circuits.

Okay, so this is a radial circuit he has setup and is okay (providing he is competent in what he has done)?

Whether or not it's ok is based on the rating of the mcb, the gauge of the wire used and the load on the circuit.

Sounds like no big load. Seems ok.

This idea that all sockets be capable of 3kW load seems anachronistic

Most loads are in the maximum of a few hundred Watts
