Anyone else think Mainoo's body language looks quite poor these days? Might be just his manner in fairness but he doesn't seem to look too interested when he's coming on.

According to Sky Sports' Keith Downie, FIFA have decided to allow the clubs to delay the departure of the AFCON-bound players until December 15.

we play on monday the 15th so hopefully our guys can play then.

I wouldn't be in any way confident of 6 points from West Ham and Wolves. We've shown we can lose to absolutely anybody these days. I'd actually say it's unlikely we'll win both.

Good win in the end v Palace but it wasn't exactly convincing overall. There are problems in nearly every area of the pitch.

If we cant beat Wolves we deserve relegation. They are awful.

Agree. West ham and wolves are also much improved of late. Villa found it tough at the weekend

Keeping the guys for the Bournemouth match would be brilliant

We finished last season on 42 points averaging around 1.1 PPG and placing 15th.

Currently, just over a third of the way through the season we have 21 points, averaging around 1.6 PPG and we are 1 point off the champions league qualification places.

Is that not an improvement or going in the right direction?

While we haven't been perfect by any means, in the main we have played much better so far this season than the bulk of last season. You can discount the glaring gaps in the middle of the field if you want but they are a factor. We bought two super players last summer and will hopefully get a CM in January.

To essentially say we are exactly as we were this time last year is simply false.

It's getting harder to refute this take. We should be seeing more at this stage in the team's evolution I believe.

The system is not working as designed and the main problem is no one can tell what the design is supposed to be from watching the players on the pitch.

The main sticking point to going all in on the Amorim criticism is how consistently bad the team has been for years and years now under many different coaches.

Are they overcoached, too micro managed, afraid to make a mistake? But then again they've looked that way since Mourinho.

I'd still point to Mainoo as a massive Amorim issue, he looks devoid of all his natural ability when he comes on now, has it been coached out of him?

    Heaven knows, he's miserable now.

(Almost want him to push for a loan just to see the headline.)

Ah here. For all the lack of improvement United are still better than West Ham and Wolves.

At home against West Ham, and Wolves are on 2 points, they are a rubbish side.

The three games afterwards, I wouldn't put any bets on those, but if we can't be secure about the likes of Wolves then there are no words.

You know what he has brought to the team, set pieces. We are second in the league for goals from set pieces and that’s nearly al down to good coaching. We've also stopped conceding at so many set pieces as well.

They are clear improvements that RA has brought.

Regarding needing new players, that's just common sense. RA or not we need new players.

Contrast Nevilles treatment of Yoro and Sesko this season with Carra talking about Wirtz. You'd swear Wirtz scored a hat trick yesterday the way Carra was singing his praises after *checks notes, zero goals or assists.

I don't care what Neville experienced in that UTD dressing room, him constantly dumping on young UTD players is bang out of order IMO, whether he's getting paid for it or not.
