FORD 5000 at it again

Yes was at same trouble year ago but not at it again, seriously hard to start, enfpd up have to bleed it but it I park it where it facing downhill it does start, is there a leak here somewhere causing this

Its getting diesel ok, when u park it on hill facing down is fine at starting but when facing uphill or bit of a flat it wont,

Are you getting diesel spitting out of the injectors when you open them?

Yes diesel coming out of injectors, when she starts and then turns her off for an hour or so she so hard to start, was using easy start, just a small spray of it there but even then not easy,

Would a non return valve on the fuel line help?

It's getting diesel as eventually starts but when sits up hard to start, face her downhill and shel start but diesel must be going away from her

Water will go to bottom of diesel in tank. Where are you storing your diesel. Maybe water in storage tank. Condensation might be the cause in metal tank.

Had a tractor with similar symptoms. The lift pump was the issue. Diesel was slowly leaking backwards. In my case the fuel tank is under the cab. Slightly different to a 5000 where the tank is higher than the injector pump.

Is it more of an issue if the fuel tank is less than 1/2 full? Or the same if the tank is full to the brim?

There doesn't seem to be a lift pump on this engine

A new engine mustve been fitted, it's the X red block engine in this

Have you a rotary or inline injector pump? As suckler said above, check the gauze filter in the bottom of the tank.

You dont really seem to know what you are talking about or doing 🤔 I think you need to put up pictures of your pump and tanks fuel lines etc otherwise you need to drop it to a garage door to get her fixed up

Its CVA pump, as said previously engine is the cross cross red block, I assume the original must have went porous and was replaced
