Which is the better panel

Im currently evaluating 2 quotes. Pretty much the same price, warranty etc. The biggest difference is that the panels are different makes. Anybody got an opinion of which I'd these panels is better?

Longi 435w (I think the model is LR5-5HTH).

JA Solar 440w ( think the model is JAM54D40)

Appreciate peoples opinions

Also don't be fooled by bigger wattage panels, ask if you can fit more panels if they are smaller depending on your roof size of course.

For example 365w panels are usually 10-15cm smaller, so you could maybe fit 12 of them on your roof, but only 8-9 of the 430w ones and you will actually lose out quite a bit that way.

thanks. that makes sense too. I'm lucky that i can fit 15-16 panels as I've a higher pitch, so more roof space.

I can fit 20 panels, I am getting a quote with the choice between Jinko Tiger 435W and Trina 430w.

Something I'm considering, I can fit 16 panels 360W panels or 14 430W panels.

I'm going with the 360W, 300W less, but nearly 700 euro cheaper overall.

ive seen a few videos saying that can be up to 20% more productive on a roof and arent that much more expensive that regular panels? dont know to be honest..

Unless you have 2 houses side by side with the exact same sized systems fitted with both types for a year to compare I take bi facial on a roof with a large pinch of salt. If you get them very close to the price of normal panels though, well then why not.

The only thing that I can think off is that a glass back might allow a smige more cooling in the event of that mythical thing called a hot day
