Hey All, have a daughter with a VW polo, both electric wing mirrors not working and the the only replacements we can find have integrated indicator lights which neither current wing mirror has, would it fail the NCT if we fit these and the indicators dont function, perhaps they are the incorrect replacements but I couldnt see any online that came without indicators, its a 2010 Polo Moda 60 (6r variant)

dont want to go to the hassle have having them installed, perhaps they will work once connected ?

Strange, a 2010 Moda should definitely have integrated indicators in the wing mirrors

Sorry all my bad, they infact do have them, bit on the dim side, just hadn't spotted them, mirror adjustment motors are not working but I'll double check it's not just a fuse, if not I'll get both swopped out, sorry about that

More likely the adjustment switch not working rather than both mirrors failing?

never thought of the switch might be worth investigating, just figured due to age both mirror had packed it in
