What material is this one?

I want to pave part of my land and I saw this in the GAA field nearby. It looks like road material but it is crushed stone. I would like to know exactly what it is and if you know where I can buy it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's very specifically not "804" as it's too rounded.

It's washed limestone chips, by the look. Something like this, but it will vary in look/colour by quarry.

Don't think it's this either as in the pic there is a good range in the sizes of stone/chips.

Stones comes in different sizes. A mix doesn't negate it being washed stone. Which it what it appears to be.

@UnhappyCustomer I assume the exact product is not so relevant. There will be many options available from a local supplier. The link above will give you an idea

I'd say if you ask the Chairperson or Treasurer, they'd know what contractor did the work and have a contact number for them

You see, even if you know exactly where the product came from, it's likely to change colour depending on the rock in the quarry from where it's sourced at the time.

Probably 'Quarry Screenings". Available from your local quarry. Compacts fairly well so good value for walkway. Also used as a pretty cheap finish over a compacted base for a driveway or parking area. Lasts a good while and can be refreshed cheaply.
