    Hi Folks,

We live in a 2007 timber framed home. For a while now there has been mould appear on the ceiling in the bedroom and also where the walls meet each other. I suspect with the ceiling, it may be down to a lack of insulation, but I don't really know.

Who does one turn to, to investigate and remedy this?

    Many thanks.

It's a cold spot, where warm air is condensing into water when it hits it, feeding the mould. Can you get into the attic to see if there's a leak or an absence of insulation.

Insulation will help to keep surfaces warm enough to prevent cold air condensing on it, but you can also help by keeping the moisture level down in the space with ventilation or using a dehumidifier.
