My mother, myself and a local Springer Spaniel at Rosses Point. It was a business trip for my father who had engineering equipment sales negotiations in nearby Sligo town, my mother and myself left to our own devices. Note the orange hippy type floral pattern of my mother’s trousers, ship heading out of Sligo port which was particularly active then.
The local Spaniel was exceptionally intelligent, and knew how to help us enter the local shop which had a peculiar upswing rather than downswing motion on the handle of the door. He basically opened the door for us.
