    As a Civil Servant, do I get a tax deduction if I have a medical card ? I'm a EO and struggling with my finances ,

    You pay lower USC if you have a full medical card, and earn under 60k (EO salary scale can shade over this but on the final increment of higher scale only). This would mean the usual 0.5% under 12k but then 2% on the entire rest; rather than it changing to 4.5% at ~25k

    This is likely already applied, though.
