    Trying to report a post is a TA. You report it, and wait, and wait...nothing happens. You don't even get a reply back to say we have recieved or read your message. How do you know they are even being checked? They might be going straight in to the recycle bin.

    As this seems to be more suited to feedback, than a trivial annoyance, I have moved it here.

    We (mods) get the same thing if that’s of any comfort? It’s something to do with how the database is searched for the complained-about discussion starting from 0 each time that’s causing the lag, regardless of the person who reported it. It’s a true pain.

    Is this an appropriate thread to bring up lack of action on reported posts in Motors? Posts like;

    From what I can see @lightening is both Mod and CMod, and the personal attack posts still remain on display.

    There was some further discussion in this thread
    https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2058327080/who-are-the-motoring-mods

    which led to these further attack post;

    While the poster seems to have asked for their account to be deleted, the posts in question remain on display.

    In the absence of any action by Motors Mods or CMods, perhaps @Shield or @Beasty or @awec can review these posts?

    It's not visible to you but the user was site banned earlier today from infractions on some of those posts you've linked and has since asked for their account to be deleted (which it seemingly has) so I don't think there's anything else we can do, or are you looking for the posts to be deleted too?

    Thanks for the update. Yes, the posts should either be deleted or marked as having resulted in the user being banned, so that the standard of expected behaviour is clear to others.

    I've updated the posts I'm aware of with a note saying they were infracted.

    Still not getting the confirmation notification at the bottom of the page when reporting a post, just reported a spam/shilling thread in “Dispute Resolution”.

    Is that gone for good?
