RCD/RCBO protection of backup circuits on hybrid inverters

I have a backup circuit on my Solis hybrid inverter which provides power to a pair of sockets and a 6kW UPS. The only protection I have on this circuit is a 2-pole rotary on/off switch.

I was just wondering if I should have at least some sort of RCD/RCBO/AFDD protection on these circuits. I can't find any guidance on this on the internet.

I imagine you should have an RCBO on it at the very least. Pretty sure mine has a dedicated one in a panel beside the inverter

It certainly needs overload protection, that's unquestionable. It also should have RCD protection for the sockets when in islanding mode and this is normally done using a switch-over relay for the earth. Sunsync have this well documented:

All sockets must be protected by a 30ma rcd.

yeah ive a rcbo on the backup circuit from my givenergy… electrician fitted it.. think its 10 amps..
