I have 2 work bases in 2 different counties, for the last year my employer allowed me to claim travel between these 2 bases however my manager has now suddenly said I can’t claim between these 2 locations although it had been mentioned prior that can’t claim between 2 locations it was being paid. Now it’s stopped I questioned this as I was paid it last year and my employer said I may have to back pay. What is the law around precedent and travel expenses being paid and then no longer being paid between locations they previously were?
