    https://www.rte.ie/news/business/2024/0520/1450249-revenue-reminds-firms-of-enhanced-reporting-obligations/

Employers are strongly encouraged to continue familiarising themselves with this guidance and support, and are reminded that they are expected to take all reasonable steps to ensure that they comply with the new reporting obligations ahead of 30 June 2024," Revenue said in a statement.

I generally do this in one go at year end, so whats the compliance date about.

If you don't make the payments then there is no ERR?

    Thanks as always

Some employers have expenses throughout the year, such as Remote Working Daily Allowance, or travel and subsistence expenses. They should be submitting these to Revenue when they are incurred.

If you are only incurring (once off) expenses later in the year, like a small benefits exemption, then there is no ERR until then.
