Discharge battery home to car at night.

Looking for advice, please. Total newbie here

Currently installed.

Solis inverter

4X2.4 KW batteries

Zappie for the car

Car is a plug in-hybrid 11kw

I want to discharge at least 60% of the battery's power into the car when it's parked at night. My installer claims it's not feasible. I'm not sure why,

From my understanding, the Solis has a setting to discharge power, and the Zappi is excess power aware.

I plan to use this by dumping the energy from the battery, which the Zappi will see and push into the car. I understand that this would have to be a manual process as not every day will be a super sunny day, and the car will not be used every day.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Car arrives home at 8pm. Battery is full and next day's forecast is good. Not much demand at home in the evening. Looks reasonable to put the power into the car. Top up the car to full if required using night rate.

Granny cable would do it at 2.5kWh over 4 hours too.

It is doable, need to be able to build some automations etc to kick it out of discharge mode at a certain %

financially its not worth doing, Get a night rate and charge the car on that. Export any excess during the day.

makes more financial sense to charge car overnight and export the full battery now to the grid. Less losses that way too.

As Elm327 said why would you do that! especially with night rate and FIT. Night rate is cheaper than FIT hence you fill your battery with night rate so during the day you export as much surplus. Likewise with EV. Don't waste sun/battery charging the car when you make more exporting.

I'm in the lucky position of changing to a smart meter that can't communicate with ESBN so my export can't be recorded and I'm still on a deemed export so I can try and use everything possible and still get paid for exporting.

Next step is increase my battery capacity so I reduce export further.

Ok, but it's also extra wear and tear on the house battery as it's going to fully cycle more often (at least once a day now). So charging a (large car) battery from a (small house) battery would be a less common approach.
