Underfloor heating, is it always electric?

    Thinking of getting underfloor heating in the kitchen/diner renovation. Is it always electric powered?

    We currently have gas central heating for all our radiators

    I have underfloor heating in my kitchen that's linked to my gas central heating. It's effectively another radiator.

    I always thought the majority of UFH setups were water piped and not electric

    I think electric is popular for retrofitting because it's easier to install
