Towbar mounted tiltable bike rack - Thule vs Thule - Help?

Hi. Don't need it to carry an e-bike. Use case is pretty much for the two kids bikes and very occasionally my own hybrid (non e-bike).

Considering three from Thule. All towbar mounted and tiltable.

    • Thule VeloSpace XT 2 (60kg)
    • Thule RideOn 9502 (30kg)
    • Thule RideOn 9503 (45kg)

Other than the weight, and it's a newer model, are there any other benefits of shelling out double for the VeloSpace XT?

You need a spanner to mount the rideon but the more expensive Thule racks just use a lever. The expensive ones also have built in locks but the cheaper one the locks are add ones.

One downside of the more expensive racks is that they are actually quite heavy to carry bit they are obviously built to carry heavier bikes as well.

Only the rideone 9503 carries 3 bikes by the way. The others only carry two.
