Kia, Hyundai, or something else

It's time to get a new vehicle, so as motor vehicles, are not really my "thing", looking for advise, so I don't end up with a expensive vehicle, just to keep the sales person happy.

At the moment I am driving 141 Hyundai ix35 4WD. I do want a jeep again, as we do the bit of farming. 4WD not essential, as haven't used it much in the last 10 years anyways.

Milage wise, I probably only do on average 30km on week days, short journey to work & farm, not stuck in traffic. Weekend road trips might be a bit longer, maybe a bit of traffic, I suppose on average 300km per week.

Not many charging points around where we live, so electric vehicle not ideal

Thanks for in advance for replies.

You won't need nearby charging points if you have a home charger. Which should be no problem if you have a farm (presumably off street parking). And 300km a week is meat and drink to most EVs (even with the smallest batteries).

Good few AWD models out there, but more expensive than standard 2WD cars. Hyundai have a couple - Ioniq 5 and 6, Kia also with the EV6 and EV9. Lots more with BYD, Tesla and Polestar to name a few. But if you don't really need it, probably not worth the expense.
