Last Stage Payment Self Build

just wondering if anyone encountered any issues with receiving the last stage payment on a self build mortgage? Did they ask for more details eg bank statements etc

We had our self build mortgage via PTSB and were asked for nothing other than the certificate of completion from the engineer. That's about 14 months ago.

A final BER certificate will probably be asked for. This can cause problems if the house is not actually completed, which it is supposed to be when drawing down the last stage payment
