Car is a Ford Mondeo 2010, was driving just now and headlamps are staying on dipped beam and won't turn off even when switched off, key out of ignition and car locked.

Have I got a problem with the light switch assembly itself or maybe the BCM?

    Following codes read from Forscan

Could just be a dirty contact, but tbh easier just to replace the unit these days.

Had an issue with a Mk1 Focus lights - I took the switch apart, cleaned the contacts and it was fine. Fiddly enough job with the Ford light switch which had a double action for front and rear fog lights. Great now that the scanner will give a code.
