Honda Fit Japanese import front break calipers

Hi

Garage couldn't find a break calipers for my Honda fit 2012 (DAA-GP1) improted from Japanese as he tried 2 different versions and looking for 3rd version to come in after 10 days. I'm not expert but I could understand theoritically. Seems genuine Honda in Dublin gave up as well and asked to wait for 6 months. I asked garage dude to use any calipers avialable in market that can fit and need not be exact Honda one, but dude said we need to find the right one as it could have bad consequences like strong or week break. 

Is there anyone with such experience and found a way around?

Does any other brand calipers fit honda fit model from japan in europe?

Any direction would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Scrapyard. Few of them on Donedeal. Theres loads of them out in Kilkock Car Dismantlers too

If you dont get them in a scrap yard message me the reg and I can cross reference it for you - the calipers are probably the same as the EU Insight which you should be able to get no problem in a motor factors.

No they arent - they could be the same as an Insight. Its a Jap import. Jazz and Fit arent identical in every way - The Fit is closer parts wise to the Insight. For example Jazz front shocks wont fit a Fit but Insight shocks will. Fit front shocks will fit an Insight but Jazz ones wont.

Brake pads are different on the Fit and Jazz - The pads on the Fit are probably the same as the EU Insight.

The air filter is even different on the Jazz than the Fit - trust me I know someone that worked for Honda for over 15 years!!!

I think you`ll find that they arent identical.
