Buying a UK reg car.

    hi first of all Good day. just want to ask if it is really normal that im buying a used car from a dealer and it is still a UK registered car, he told me the process that if i agree to buy the car then he will process it for vrt, he asked for my ID and utility bill as well as 500 deposit. does other dealer do it as well? also i checked the histoeu of the car through mywheels and it seems okay. thanks in advance for your feedback.
