    Nc7 is mini generation, I think that's the gap your missing

    There's nothing stopping businesses/school etc, going with a nc6 either

    So, mini generation is in the middle? Is the small scale generation fully open to all or is it limited to the pilot?

    NC7 requires ESBN to confirm / assess if there is local capacity at the MV / LV transformer.

    You can look this up yourself and see the local nodes / network points.

    Electric Ireland has reduced the microgeneration rate by just over 7% (from 01/11/24).
    Those solar panels are going to take that bit longer to pay off now, and I'm sure this is not the last reduction in rates we're going to see…😣
