The Irish EV Owners Association (IEVA) is excited to support The Electric Circle, the coming together of a community of EV enthusiasts in Louth and beyond for a pioneering event designed to illuminate the path towards a sustainable future. "The Electric Circle" is more than just an event; it's a community gathering aimed at dispelling myths and providing accurate, up-to-date information about electric vehicles (EVs), solar energy solutions, and new forms of renewable energy. The event takes place at The Mill Enterprise Hub, Drogheda on April the 24th from 5:30 - 7:30pm.

    The Need for Correct Information

A recent survey by the AA revealed a startling truth: half of potential EV drivers are hesitant to make the switch due to misinformation and prevailing myths about electric vehicles. This is a significant barrier to the adoption of greener transportation methods. It highlights the crucial need for platforms like "The Electric Circle," where factual, reliable information is shared, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their energy future.

    Why "The Electric Circle"?

This event stands out by focusing on the power of community and direct engagement. Instead of traditional, one-way conversations led by industry experts, "The Electric Circle" embraces a roundtable format, enabling every participant to voice their questions, share their experiences, and learn from each other. It’s an opportunity to engage directly with experts, enthusiasts, and fellow community members in a setting that values every voice.

    Highlights of the Event:

    • Interactive Roundtables: Delve into discussions about electric cars, the potential of solar-powered homes, and the future of renewable energy, all tailored to the interests of the attendees.
    • Test Drive Opportunities: Experience the thrill and potential of EVs firsthand with test drives available on the day of the event. It's a chance to get behind the wheel and see what the buzz is all about.
    • Community Focus: "The Electric Circle" is designed as a small community gathering, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to find answers to their questions, whether they're about transitioning to an EV, installing solar panels, or exploring new renewable energy options.

If you have booked for a test drive, we have Citroen Ami, Orra and an MG4 at the venue. Ensure you come a bit early to get enough time for your test drives and carry a valid license with you.
