Skin Allergies - Any help will be appreciate

My wife started experiencing skin allergies at 30 weeks into her pregnancy. They are terrible, appearing on her arms, legs, and stomach... Initially, tests were conducted ruling out kidney problems and various diseases.

Our son was born, healthy and beautiful! He is almost 3 months old. However, my wife's allergies persist. She has seen four different GPs, and we have spent over 1500 euros on tests. Recently, she saw an allergy specialist (Allergist). No one can find a diagnosis or a solution.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for a doctor? Our life would be so much better without this problem. Our bed is covered in blood marks from my wife scratching herself so much, causing small bleeds on her skin.

Autoimmune diseases and allergies have been ruled out.

    Thank you.

Hormones and stress is what's coming into my mind.

I don't really know anything about this but psoriasis is in my family and at times of stress they all have massive flare ups.

Then I know from my own pregnancies hormones were really all over the shop so I don't know if the Drs can do a hormone screen similar to testing for menopause to see if something is off kilter.... honestly I could be talking rubbish there but....

In the meantime you can get sea salt/sea weed bath products that can relieve some of the itching.

Also cold tar products (absolutely reeks but are effective)

Putting oats in a muslin cloth in a bath can also be effective.

OTC products that are good for dry skin are Aveeno and moogoo....tbh the market is full of products.

Also if Drs aren't giving you a solution I'd try a homeopath, there maybe some natural remedy or vitamin supplement that can compliment (not replace) drs advice.

I was constantly having bouts of intense sneezing allergies, at the same time I was also getting itchy psoriasis flair ups on my face, arms and legs. It appears they were related because what worked well in reducing all these symptoms for me was a low carb diet, cutting out white bread, pasta and potatoes. This type of diet reduces inflammation in the body and while I'm not on it all the time, when I am I feel absolutely fantastic.
