Fuel related problems in small engines

after 65 years working with small petrol engines I see a huge increase in carburettor problems happening.
Only those who have invested in an ultrasonic tank should answer my query please. How efficient are they in handling the problems caused by the increased ratios of Ethanol in petrol. I am no scientist but I do suspect that Ethanol leeches some of the material from inside of plastic petrol cans and fuel tanks and the synthetic rubber parts of fuel lines etc. and the deposits result in blockages of the tiny fuel galleries in the carburettors. Particularly in equipment that is not in constant use .
