Just seen this, seems to be quite serious. Reports on X that there are checkpoints in some parts of Dublin with Armed Support Unit present because of this. Yellow Renault Trafic 181 D 39433. Somethings going to happen, the Gardaí are extremely concerned as I don’t recall hearing this type of alert before.
No description of the driver or any indicator of what the threat is.
Strangely, although the van is described as yellow it was originally white:
