    All

Just finished a new build, it has a heat pump and pretty much electric everything other than a gas fire.

Just picked up and electric carso as you can imagine Solar is on my mind especially after seeing my first electric bill.

I have the space to ground mount my solar so going to do that, thinking Kee clamp and k2 rails type set up.

I also have 3 phase power and so where I am I can have up to 10kw export without having to go though huge applications etc.

I was going to tackle all the ground mounting, pulling cables etc. and then get a spark to do the connections for me.

What I am thinking is a an array made up of either (Can't post links)

425Wp Jinko Tiger Neo TOPCon N-Type 54cell All Black Solar Panel 25yr warranty – ITS Technologies

14.76kW Pallet of 36 x 410W Hyundai DG Series Mono Percium Solar Panel - MCS Approved - All black Premium panel - 30 year warranty (bimblesolar.com)

up to the max on the inverter in PV input so circa 15KW.

I have been drawn to a Solis S6 10kw 3 phase, for no good reason really other than the s5 was one of the local quotes I have had and the S6 looks to the new model. Only issue is its so new cannot see it for sale anywhere outside Germany. Solis cloud seems to get a bit of a bashing but seems to be a pretty popular unit and has a good max PV number so can maximise my array size for duller weather. Would be happy to hear of experience or better options in 3phase.

I see others like Fronius symo which I know is a good name in welding but not sure its worth let bit extra $$$.

Finally I am considering some batteries, but I notice that that most of these 3 phase inverters seem to go with high voltage batteries rather than the pylontech 48v units I had originally been drawn to.

My heat pump generally pulls between 1-2KW at night when its colder in winter and I heat water with it for an hour at night on Economy 7 rate.

However I thought it would be nice if I had enough batteries to either charge at E7 rates and offset a bit of heat pump during the day on dull days or run the heat pump overnight if the sun has been shining in winter.

Pylontech force or BYD seem to make stackable type systems which would sit well in the garage where I am planning to put this.

    Let me know your thoughts.
